Jim received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1987. In 1994, he started his company, Trinity Animation, as a service that provided illustrations and animations of all kinds. Over the years, Trinity has grown as an animation firm and software provider as well as a training center for many 3D applications. Jim’s expertise is in 3ds Max, Maya, SketchUp and V-Ray. Jim has co-written 4 best-selling books on 3D animation for Pearson Publishing, including the popular “Maya Fundamentals” series. He holds certification from Chaos Group as a certified trainer of V-Ray for 3ds Max and V-Ray for SketchUp.
